One of the best parts of moving to California, for me, was discovering I had a lemon tree in my new backyard. I'll admit that I picked up this book initially because I thought it would be fun to photograph the day after I'd picked nearly 50 lemons off my tree. But then it was actually some of the reviews that really caught my attention—how this book was about a lot of people with some real baggage in their lives and how true-to-real-life it read. I'm finding that lately, although I do enjoy escaping into different stories and worlds through my books, it's almost therapeutic to read a book that I can really really relate to.
I think that most of us could say that we've experienced family drama/trauma, heart ache, and the confusion of a relationship. I'm looking forward to diving into this one.
